SJK . EKO is a Jordanian percussionist, DJ, and producer known for fusing Middle Eastern traditions with contemporary electronic music. Based in Berlin, he heads Ashram Records, a label focused on cross-cultural innovation. After emerging from Amman’s underground scene in the late ’90s, his breakthrough came through collaborations with Acid Arab and Versatile Records, including the acclaimed album King Ghazi. With performances across Europe and ongoing projects with artists like Florian Meindl, SJK . EKO has become a key figure in blending ancestral rhythms with modern beats.
